This Memorial Day lets also remember the Mothers who were left behind when their child gave their life for our country

grandma

Hey Kids, before you head out to your cookouts, please take a few minutes to check out this clip. It's what Memorial Day is really all about. My wife's little Grandma is one of the subjects in the documentary film "They Shall Live".

The film shares what the mothers of our soldiers go through when their child gives his or her life for our country. They are the American Gold Star Mothers and this film is about their role in American history. After losing their own child at war, these women volunteer to provide care and support to other mothers who have lost a son or daughter during service in the U.S. Armed Forces. They also work tirelessly for veterans. Most Americans, including mothers of fallen soldiers, don't even know about this support group that was created in 1928. The filmmakers are raising funds to produce "They Shall Live" in an effort to grow awareness of the organization that helps so many. I contributed to the cause and I know Grammy, soldiers and their families would appreciate any of your kind donations. Even if you can't donate, please watch this clip. And have a nice Memorial Day!
