Well, here's the lastest scandel in my town:
Officer accused of threatening kids
HILLSDALE — The borough's police department is conducting an internal investigation into allegations that an officer pulled a gun on a group of boys outside the George G. White School last week, a parent of one of the boys said Tuesday.
"There is an allegation and we are looking into the matter," said Detective Sgt. Robert Francaviglia of the Hillsdale police. "This is a personnel matter."
Francaviglia declined to give an account of the incident, name the officer involved or say whether the officer is still on active duty with the department.
"I understand there was a fight between some youngsters at the George White School and the officer responded there," he said.
Ken Smith said his 13-year-old son, Bryan, was among a group of boys who gathered near the basketball courts around 3 p.m. Friday, the last day of classes at the school.
After a group of boys got into a fight there, the officer "charged through with his gun drawn and pointed it at them and told everyone to get down on the ground," Smith said, citing his son's account of the incident.
The officer "threatened to mace them if they lifted their heads," Smith said.
The officer allowed the students to leave after several minutes, Smith said.
Hillsdale Mayor John Sapanara said Tuesday that he had "certainly heard the same allegations."
"But at this point in time, we have to wait until the internal investigation is finished," he said. "We basically have to find out what happened."
Smith and his son were called in to police headquarters on Monday to give a statement, and they were told that an internal affairs investigation was under way.

If true, I think the Police Officer should be fired and maybe arrested. Granted, these kids are wise-asses and in need of a spanking but pulling a gun and threatening to mace middle schoolers is a little too much and can't be accepted behavior by the Police..This isn't the Ghetto here. The chances of these kids having guns on them are slim to none.
Man, if a cop did that when i was in Middle School, i'd be shitting my pants
