View Full Version : How do you TOTALLY delete a Visitor Message?

I deleted a Visitor Message on my profile page after I answered it, but instead of the message disappearing forever, there is now a "placeholder" where the message was that says that I deleted the message.

How do I get rid of the PLACEHOLDER now? Is it going to be there FOREVER?

When you delete it there should be two choices of deletion.
Soft delete- leaves a place holder or physical remove- doesn't leave a place holder. Yes, you can do a physical remove after a soft delete

Hmm... and exactly how would I do a physical remove?

When I originally deleted the message, I didn't have any options for what type of message deletion I was doing... I just had a single option to delete it.

regular users only have one choice, soft delete. I guess just pm an admin or mod for now to hard delete it. I'll take care of yours for the time being
