Yeah... here in Connecticut, when we have some brick smokestacks that need to come down,
we don't hide in some protected bunker and blow them up from far away like a bunch of pussies...

We send in a guy with a big fuckin jackhammer (and an even bigger set of balls)
to chop them down manually like a couple of brick trees.
(the voice you'll hear is the helicopter pilot)

Yeah, some jobs are just badass! I love how the jobs that are the most fun involve doing things that adults always tell you never to do as a child. For instance, I melt things and tell jokes and other guys get to destroy things and blow shit up. They told me never to play with fire so I'm trying to make a career out of it.

When I was 15 my Father brought me onto a job removing a street. I used a hammer like that for a few days because it was a Union job and there were no more operators around. My father used the saw behind what I did.

I don't think I would do a job like that though. Way too much potential for things to go wrong. That operator has a set and skill.

AMEN to that whodat, it is 1000 Times better to blow shit up, I blow shit up around here all the time, nothing as big as those Smoke Stacks, but blowing shit up in a SAFE Manner is a Skill also, all you do is direct the Charge in a certain Direction, a Shaped Charge, but even the Best "Shooters" can screw up :D
